Capital Campaign to Renew the Ministry Center

Our people are ready to serve.
Our building should be too.

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. – 1 Corinthians 4:1

Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,

I am really excited about where God has led Holy Trinity over the last few years. We are a growing congregation in both numbers and ministries, and we are living into our strategic plan and our mission statement of “Loving God, Loving Neighbor.” Holy Trinity is a healthy congregation, as evidenced by research done through our congregational survey and listening groups, which makes this an excellent time to challenge ourselves with a capital campaign to renew and renovate our Ministry Center at 300 East Rosemary Street. Our 65-year-old building has served us well but is in need of major renovations and upgrades. In our ministry together, we have discerned that our people are ready to serve and grow—our building should be too.

We are calling this campaign “Renew300” because we have heard God’s call to move forward to renew our original building at 300 East Rosemary Street. The campaign seeks to raise $2 million to improve and enhance our building so we can continue to move forward in our ministry together and continue to have a positive impact on the community around us. While a lot of resources will be used to update the infrastructure and mechanical/electrical systems of the building, there is no doubt that this effort also will provide visible and renewed ministries as we continue to live out our mission in Chapel Hill.

We invite you to be a part of this exciting time and campaign at Holy Trinity!

We are launching Renew300 on Sunday, April 30, and over the next several weeks we ask you to prayerfully consider your most generous commitment to our Renew300 campaign. We also invite you to attend one of our “Tell the Story” events. Please return your pledge cards by Commitment Sunday, May 21. Thank you in advance for your prayers, support, and commitment to this campaign and our ministry together.

In response to Christ’s love and grace,
Pastor Will Rose
