Youth ActivitiesThe goal of Youth Ministry at Holy Trinity is that all youth be involved in the total life and ministry of the church. To accomplish this goal, youth are involved in a balanced program of activities from each of the following:
HTLC Youth (grades 6th-12th) meets the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 5:00 until 7:00*. A meal, prepared by parents, is served for the cost of $2.00. Some events are exclusively for the middle or high school students, while many combine everyone. Activities include service projects as well as fellowship events. Winter includes a weekend of skiing spent in the North Carolina mountains. Spring is a Memorial Day weekend at Kure Beach. The group operates a concession booth at UNC football games, which help underwrite work camp, campfirmation, the national youth gathering, as well as other activities. Here We Stand, a comprehensive confirmation program, is experienced on Sunday mornings from 9:45 – 10:45 for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
