ENSEMBLES

The Cherub Choir is a choir for young children, ages potty-trained through Kindergarten. This group will learn basic rhythm and melody skills and learn to echo a leader's voice. They will sing in worship about twice per semester. Cherub Choir Fall Schedule

The Joyful Noise Choir is for 1st through 5th grade students. We'll learn fundamentals of reading music, some basic sight-singing and solfege (singing on do, re, mi), and we'll use Orff instruments and percussion. In addition, we'll learn liturgical responses, the flow of a Sunday morning liturgy, and how to navigate through a hymnal. Joyful Noise will lead worship 2-3 times each semester. The Youth Choir for grades 6 through 12 will rehearse every other week in conjunction with the Youth Group schedule. We will sing more challenging pieces, and lead worship several times a semester. Youth Choir Fall Schedule

The "Gathering Spirit" group consists of drummers, bassists, guitarists, and vocalists who rehearse weekly and lead congregational song at every Sunday's 8:30am Holy Communion service. Generally we prepare a prelude and an offertory as well as learn hymns and liturgical pieces for the upcoming weeks in order to facilitate congregational singing. Instrumentalists and vocalists of all ages, from high school and up, are always welcome to join - whether or not you are able to attend weekly. Gathering Spirit Fall Schedule

The Chancel Choir is an SATB choir for adult singers (college age and up) of all skill levels. Usually, we prepare an anthem for each Sunday's 11:00am traditional service, as well as preparing hymns, portions of the liturgy, psalms, and so on. All are welcome to join, regardless of musical background, and whether or not you are able to commit to weekly attendance. Chancel Choir Fall Schedule

The Holy Trinity Orchestra is a group made up of instruments of all types and of every age. We'll rehearse and lead worship as announced. Beginners and experienced players alike are welcome. We will play for occasional services such as the dedication of the new worship center on Sunday, February 3, 2007.
