Will Rose

Parish Pastor

Pastor Will Rose was called to be lead pastor of parish ministry at Holy Trinity in February 2012. Pastor Will grew up in Wilmington NC and graduated from UNCW in 1995 and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia SC in 2000. He enjoys swimming, surfing, golf, collecting comic books and traveling with his family. Pastor Will and his wife Cindy have two daughters, Hannah and Ella.

Mark A. Coulter

Lead Pastor for Campus Ministry

Pastor Mark Coulter was called to our congregation to lead Lutheran Campus Ministry on March 15, 1999. Pastor Coulter was a member of Lutheran Campus Ministry when he was a UNC student and has a passion for sharing his faith as he helps students in their spiritual development. When he is not off with students or hanging around the church, he enjoys running and working on projects around his house. Mark and his wife Kathy have three daughters: Paige, Robin, and Janna.

Laura Buff

Laura Alexander

Cantor

Laura Alexander took on the role of cantor at HTLC in January 2014. She graduated from UNC in May of 2013, and was active in the ministries of HTLC/LCM throughout her time in Chapel Hill. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in vocal performance at UNC-Greensboro. In addition to her musical interests, Laura enjoys traveling, learning new languages, yoga, jogging, hiking, and watching UNC basketball.

 

Holly Shipley

Associate in Ministry for Faith Formation

Holly is the Associate in Ministry for Faith Formation. She was called to HTLC in July of 2013. She oversees the youth and children ministries, as well as coordinating and directing the educational and discipleship opportunities for all ages. Holly is originally from Huntington, WV where she graduated from Marshall University. She is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio and was commissioned as an associate in ministry in 1989. She is most recently from Lexington, KY. Being new to the Triangle area, Holly is enjoying discovering shops, restaurants, surrounding towns and outdoor activities. She lives in Durham with her dog, Daisy.

 

Heidi Rueckel

Church Administrator

Heidi Rueckel relocated here from Long Island, New York in 1999 with her husband, Norbert, daughter, Monika and son, Christian. Norbert works in the computer field; Monika attends University of North Carolina – Greensboro and is an avid volleyball player and soccer player; Christian attends Chapel Hill High School and enjoys playing various sports. After working as the Church Administrator, she spends most of her time with her family and taking care of her mother, who lives with them. When she has any spare time, she enjoys shopping and cooking. Perhaps in the future, Heidi and her husband will be able to travel again.
